Light removes the darkness and education drives away the darkness of ignorance from the society.Realizing this truth, late Professor Al-Haj Mohammad Zahurul Islam wanted to spread the light of education among his natives. He came from Physics Department of Jagannath University (formally kwon as Govt. Jagannath College)and retired as Vice-Principal from there. He was a reputed religious and social worker. During his life time,he used to move from door to door to spread the spirit of Islam among the native especially those who were uneducated, under-privileged,and totally devoid of learning Al-Quran including socio-economic responsibilities. So, he planned to established Mosques and Madrasas.

To materialize his plan he started a Madrasa but he could not finish his works as he died suddenly. Then the local people have established AL Islam Zahuria Complex in memory of him. Since then we, the complex authority, have been working earnestly to educate the native through the Madrasa. We have also set up a Dakhil Madrasa that is equivalent to Secondary level education. We have started to construct two-storied Mosque.It has also been planned to start a Technical Education School, Library, Health care centre, Modern Hefzul-Quran institute, Free Residential Orphanage (Lillah Boarding), Co-operative shops and a Community service center for the development of the cross section of the area. We are being helped positively by the local Govt. authority and the natives.
